"Osprey Pair Are Settled In"

The Osprey returned to New Hampshire in April after a winter in Central and South America. They seem to have settled in nicely! As of late May, the female was incubating eggs. When will the chicks hatch? Stay tuned!

This marks the sixth year we are watching the Ayer’s Island Osprey soar through the sky. Osprey chicks were first born at Ayer’s Island in 2005. Through 2009, nine Osprey chicks have been raised at the site, by the same original pair, we believe. We are looking forward to seeing what adventures these birds will experience in 2010. Be sure to stop in often to watch the birds as they repeat the fascinating cycle of raising another family.

So that our many thousands of visitors can enjoy this feature, we are limiting the duration of individual connections to the live Ospreycam to 10 minutes.

If you receive a message stating that your session is over before the osprey footage begins, it is because all of the connections are full, so please wait and try again.
