Energy Data

Power Quality Assistance
The more information you can gather about how you are using energy, the more effectively you will be able to control your usage and your costs. Your PSNH Account Executive can help you collect and analyze data and develop a plan.

Steps you can take:

  • Review your last year's energy use, and break it down into major categories (e.g., HVAC, computers, motors, office lighting, production).
  • Review operation and maintenance schedules and look for opportunities to cut energy use.
  • Conduct an energy audit.
  • Document employee comments regarding energy usage, health, safety and comfort.
  • Prioritize energy-saving measures, including a cost/benefit analysis.
  • Ask your PSNH Account Executive and other vendors about incentives and rebate programs.
  • Produce justifications for energy improvement costs and include them in budgeting.
  • Keep track of energy savings, after the work is done.
