Available to income-eligible PSNH customers with some permanently installed electric heat, this program is designed
to help you manage your energy use and reduce your electric bill.
Under this program, PSNH can help you with your home's energy efficiency
through improvements such as insulation, air sealing, thermostat
replacement, electric hot water conservation measures, and cost-effective
appliance and lighting upgrades. If you participate in this program,
you will also receive tailored educational reports to help you understand
your home as a system and the factors that affect energy use.
Residential customers may apply for Home Energy Assistance
by contacting one of the local Community
Action Agencies (CAA) in the state. The CAAs will determine eligibility
by total household income and the number of members in your household. For more details on these eligibility guidelines, as well as information about another program for income-eligible PSNH customers, go to the Electric
Assistance Program page.
More information about this program is available in our Home Energy Assistance Program Brochure (en Espanola) or our Energy Savers Booklet (en Espanola).
