PSNH teams up with NASA to support community college students
For the past three years, PSNH has teamed up with National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to fund 40 scholarships (on average) per academic year to Community College System of New Hampshire. CCSNH has seven colleges located throughout the state with two-year degrees in a variety of programs from elementary education to engineering. PSNH matched NASA’s contribution for a total of $120,000 – the majority of which goes towards the $1,000 scholarships.
“PSNH recognizes that the future prosperity of New Hampshire depends greatly on our ability to educate its citizens,” said Nury Márquez, Corporate Community Relations Manager at PSNH. “By matching the NASA scholarship program, we’ve been able to support students who are deserving of assistance and who are critical to the viability of technical industries.”

Together with the company’s corporate sponsorship, over $200,000 was raised for charities in New Hampshire. Additionally, over 100 employees gave their time during the United Way’s Day of Caring in September.
