Grade 2: Electric Safety
30-45 minutes

Students learn the basics regarding the production, transmission and distribution of electricity and get a first-hand look at safety equipment used by real lineworkers. Ways to stay safe are reviewed in an animated video, Kato's Electrical Safety Video Game Adventure, which focuses on nine common indoor and outdoor electrical safety hazards.

Grade 3: Energy Efficiency
30-45 minutes

The Grade 3 program is designed to build awareness of how the production of electricity impacts the environment, and the ways people can reduce their energy consumption. After a brief review of electrical safety, these messages on efficiency are reinforced by a Disney video, The Energy Savers, featuring Goofy, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and Pluto as they learn to save energy around the house.
