Hooksett Hydro

Completed in 1927 by PSNH, Hooksett Hydro is located on the Merrimack River. The original generators and turbines are still in operation.

In 1988, a downstream fish passage was installed to allow native fish to move freely downriver. A boat launch is located above the dam, and there are information kiosks and a canoe portage in the vicinity.
