Canaan Hydro

Completed in 1927 by PSNH, Canaan Hydro is located on the upper reaches of the Connecticut River, 10 miles south of Lake Francis. Murphy Dam at Lake Francis regulates much of the water for Canaan Hydro and other hydro plants on the river.
